The Annenberg Foundation Trust at Sunnylands

The Annenberg Retreat at Sunnylands was established by the late Ambassador Walter and Leonore Annenberg to address serious issues facing the nation and the world community.” Working with national and international leaders from a range of fields, including government, philanthropy, education, medicine and the arts the organization will develop intimate meetings that will take place at the 200-acre Annenberg estate in Rancho Mirage, California, known as Sunnylands, and be designed to have an impact on society – including meetings where the President of the United States and/or the Secretary of State may convene to “promote world peace and facilitate international agreement.”

The Annenberg Retreat at Sunnylands is operated by The Annenberg Foundation Trust at Sunnylands, a private foundation that also runs a spectacular new facility adjacent to the estate that features a 17,000 square foot building with open spaces, a theatre, a café and a 9 acre garden that can be used for retreats but also will provide a range of educational programs and public tours that will expose visitors to the historic significance of Sunnylands.
