American Friends of HelpAge India is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization that was established in 2019 to help raise awareness about the challenges facing the elderly and to mobilize resources in support of the work done by HelpAge India, a 45 year old non-profit organization that has been serving over 2 million elders each year through initiatives in healthcare access, agecare, sustainable livelihoods and advocacy. HelpAge India is one of India’s most long standing and reputable non profit organizations and is one of the few working on a pan-India scale to address the unique challenges facing the elderly in India.
