Serving as a forum for community collaboration among Vietnamese, Asian American diaspora as well as other immigrants, the mission of VLACC is to enrich the lives of those immigrants living in the United States through language and cultural programs. VLACC aspire to bring together community leaders and advocates (from all backgrounds) by partnering with local businesses to learn and build a community and network of support in the US and Vietnam.

One of the major goals of VLACC is to provide knowledge and education: building blocks and tools to self-sustainability. We believe that by helping those who want to learn, we are helping them to create a better quality of life; inspiring them to give back to their community—in the US and abroad.

VLACC coordinates English-as-a-Second-Language (ESL) programs for adults and Vietnamese language classes for both adults and children. We believe by providing the foundations of the English language to immigrants, we can empower them to achieve their goals and become successful in finding employment. We plan to refer participants to other services and organizations that can help them succeed which include legal services, agencies working with immigrants, etc… We also offer Vietnamese translation and interpreter services.

Additionally, in our effort to community-build, we have produced events and shows in celebration of Vietnamese culture.

Through The VLACC Fund, we plan to support and fundraise for a select group of non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in Vietnam that meet our criteria of promoting education, eliminating poverty, and working to improve lives of people with developmental disabilities, and affected by Agent Orange. We will coordinate 'voluntourism' by organizing volunteer groups from the US to visit Vietnam under the auspices of partner programs, in hopes of enriching the volunteers and aiding the sponsor programs in Vietnam.
