Organización sin fin de lucro
NORA-International & NORA-Madagascar
Misión
We work to empower children and young people through initiatives that foster community engagement and local co-ownership. Our projects focus on nutrition, school infrastructure, and sustainable community development - always with the clear objective of making a tangible difference in the lives of the children in our partner villages.
Acerca de
To ensure complete transparency, NORA operates with a clear, two-tiered non-profit structure. This guarantees that all financial resources are managed professionally in Denmark by our funding agency,
NORA-International, while all development and implementation work remains deeply anchored on the ground with our local organization, NORA-Madagascar.
NORA only works within communities we know, trust, and understand. Local insight and knowledge shape every initiative we launch.
We source materials locally and work with local craftsmen. We build with local community volunteers and the School canteens are run by parent groups.
Sustainability requires commitment. We provide the tools or infrastructure, and in return, the community contributes labor or resources to feed back into - and sustain - the projects.
We are on the ground in Madagascar full-time. Living alongside the people of our partner villages allows us to combine deep local knowledge with direct, daily oversight!
