DIU is dedicated to Community Service Learning in rural Cambodia. Students do service projects with local NGOs in villages surrounding the city of Battambang. In addition, over 60 needy students from these villages receive scholarships to study at DIU.
The other pillar of DIU is research. We do social research in community development in Cambodia. Focus has been in the areas of leadership, community education, and identifying community needs.
