FUNDACION GRUPO JUVENIL SALINAS

We would like to introduce to you our Foundacion Grupo Juvenil (FUGJS or Foundation of the Youth Group Salinas) from the village of Salinas, canton Guaranda, province of Bolívar, Ecuador.

The Foundation has been working 25 years at establishing small economic projects in order to improve the social and economic standards of our region. We have many microemprasas here which are small industries that produce varying products such as mushrooms, marmelades, wool, chocolate, salamis, etc. The town of Salinas is very productive and lucrative and we have a developing tousit office. We are looking for people to help increase the tourism of Salinas and while here to teach English classes to the community.

In exchange for your help, you will be given a place to live. No donation is necessary to participate here in Salinas but a commitment of at least 3 months must be made.
