UNITE HERE is a progressive labour union, representing approximately 440,000 workers in the distribution centre, retail, manufacturing, hotel, restaurant, textile, laundry, gaming and food service industries in North America.

These industries employ large numbers of women, recent immigrants and people of colour. UNITE HERE is committed to raising the living standards of these workers who do some of the most "invisible" work in North America.

Innovative organizing campaigns and a strong training program make UNITE HERE an exciting place to create change and empower disenfranchised workers in the service industries. UNITE HERE's goal is not only to organize non-union workers and win campaigns but also to train effective new leaders and organizers who can develop creative and strategic campaigns and change the economic balance of power in North America.
