The Batey Foundaton

The Batey Foundation is a non-profit organization founded to partner with leaders in the batey communities of the Dominican Republic to build resilient physical infrastructure and the human capital required to raise the living standards for local children and families. The organization works toward this mission through three program strategies: service learning program partnerships with school and community groups from the United States, a scholarship program for local youth, and direct investment of capital and volunteer labor to support community development projects.
