Crossway Community is an entrepreneurial non-profit organization located in Kensington, MD, that provides education, training, support services, and housing for families in the Washington metropolitan area. In 1990 Crossway Community opened the doors of a renovated, previously abandoned elementary school with a mission to promote learning, creativity and community for all families. Today Crossway serves more than 1,000 families annually through our Family Leadership School (FLS), Community Training Institute, Crossway Community Montessori School (CCMS), and Neighborhood Community Center.
