Essex County Community Foundation

ECCF seeks team members to join our organization that desire to play a meaningful role in improving the lives of those who live, work and raise families here in Essex County. In its 21st year, ECCF inspires philanthropy across the 34 cities and towns in Essex County. We do this in three vital ways:  

1. Managing and investing donor’s charitable assets;
2. Strengthening and supporting local nonprofits with knowledge and financial resources;
3. Bringing people together and investing in “systems-change” work that addresses root-causes of social issues in our region.

ECCF’s family of 220 charitable funds (and growing) delivers over $7 million to nearly 1,000 grantees annually. With over $85 million in charitable assets, the Foundation helps advise fundholders on giving strategies to reach their philanthropic goals and maximize their impact. The Foundation has a deep knowledge of the strengths and opportunities that face our communities and believes funding, through our donors and partners, is a vital part of the systems-work that delivers real, lasting change in the region.
