Planet's Mission

We believe that land and natural resources should be accessible to all and available to future generations. The only way to achieve this is by involving all stakeholders in every aspect of resource management. We are especially determined to restore the ownership of natural resources to local communities and indigineous peoples. Only by ensuring that all stakeholders are educated, involved in the management and have equitable use of land and resources can we arrest the degradation of our environment and achieve our vision of a world where our natural ecosystems are self-sustaining and enjoyed by all.

Planet intends to develop an organization that addresses what we perceive as shortfalls in the current approach to conservation initiatives. This includes starting a new tourism movement that addresses a need for tourists to be intensely involved in the conservation process and to become equal partners.
