Orchard House Medical Adult Day Center is a private, non-profit organization that has been providing a structured program of individualized services, and therapeutic activities, in a group setting for over 30 years. Adults who are cognitively and/or physically impaired, socially isolated, frail, in need of assistance with activities of daily living, or in need of supervision during the day are encouraged to participate.
Orchard House provides medical oversight, social engagement and cultural enrichment for aging adults in an environment that promotes independence & fosters friendship . Orchard House also provides caregivers with a temporary break from the demands of caring for an aging loved one. Without respite, caregivers are more susceptible to the effects of caregiver stress, such as depression, exhaustion and other health problems.
