CHRD is an international network of Chinese human rights activists and groups. Its objective is to build the capacity of human rights defenders in China and assist them in monitoring human rights developments and trends there. CHRD's activities include consultation, dissemination of information, facilitating international exchange, training and supporting a program of small grants to local Chinese groups that conduct human rights work and research in China.
