Loma Linda University Community-Academic Partners in Service

The Community-Academic Partners in Service office (CAPS) serves as the main hub for all LLU students, faculty, and staff who want to serve and learn in the local San Bernardino community. We do this by offeringprograms such as mentoring, music lessons, tutoring, health education classes, and much more. CAPS also acts as the portal for community-based organizations seeking University support.Our office encourages all forms of community engagement including direct service, volunteering, service-learning, community-based research, philanthropy, and advocacy. We offer a variety of programs and services to connect LLU students, faculty, staff, and alumni through partnerships with the community

The mission of CAPS is to connect LLU students, faculty and staff's passion for service and academics in partnership with the local community in mutually beneficial and sustainable ways.
