The Greater Community AIDS Project of East Central Illinois (GCAP) empowers individuals and families living with and affected by HIV/AIDS in East Central Illinois by providing housing and supportive services and actively works within the community to reduce virus transmission.

The Greater Community Aids Project of East Central Illinois was founded with a steadfast commitment to providing essential support and advocacy for individuals living with HIV and AIDS. Established in response to the growing need for comprehensive care and resources, our organization has been a beacon of hope and empowerment since its inception. We offer housing assistance, emergency financial support, and educational programs to improve the quality of life for those we serve. Our journey began with a small group of dedicated volunteers who recognized the urgent need for a community-focused approach to HIV and AIDS care, and we have grown into a trusted partner for countless individuals and families across the region.
