Misión
Central Virginia Sensory Enrichment strives to create fun and educational all inclusive events for children of all ages with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families. Our belief is that disability is not a word, the word is ability. The ability to do what you put your mind to. Our goal is to have children and their families leave our events feeling empowered and strengthened in their abilities.
Acerca de
I would like to introduce myself, my name is Regina I am a mom of 4 beautiful children and many grandchildren. My youngest daughter has Septo Optic Dysplasia/Optic Nerve Hypoplasia and is completely blind. She also has many other health related problems. At the end of one of her therapy sessions I told her vision teacher I wanted to start and Audible egg hunt here. I think at first, she thought I wasn’t serious. That was in 2016; in 2017 we hosted our 1 st Audible Egg Hunt and many other events since. Our Events to date include Family Fun and Safety Day, Family Fun Fall Day and Winter Wonderland. We look forward to growing a little more every year. With your help we will be able to achieve this goal.
