FAMILY SERVICE AGENCY OF SAN BERNARDINO

Family Services Agency of San Bernardino (FSASB) provides crisis intervention to families experiencing domestic violence and its aftermath. In partnership with Children and Family

Services, FSASB works to protect endangered children, preserve and strengthen their families and recommend alternative family settings, when appropriate. Specifically, we provide

therapeutic counseling for children who have been abused or neglected or whose parents, for some other reason, cannot provide adequate care and their children have been placed in

Foster Care. Simultaneously, parents receive intensive training in appropriate parenting skills, techniques to control/manage anger, effective communication, and domestic violence

prevention intervention services by certified professionals in the field. Our ultimate goal is to make sure children have a safe, permanent home, either by reunification with their families of

origin, or through adoption or placement with a permanent legal guardian.
