Capital Pro Bono

Established over 40 years ago and based in Sacramento, Capital Pro Bono (CPB) provides free civil law-related legal services to low income persons in Northern California. With the support of our very small staff, volunteers provide access to and understanding of the legal system to those who cannot afford a private attorney. The program operates several legal clinics and projects for self-represented individuals on a variety of issues and does intake and referral of cases to volunteer attorneys for direct representation.
