Community Service Center of Central Florida at Margaret Square

CSC at Margaret Square is a satiellete site for the Community Service Center of Central Florida, located in The Meadows Community, a low-income, high-risk community. The purpose of CSC at Margaret Square is to promote family preservation and economic self-sufficiency through a focus on education, financial support services, and resources. CSC at Margaret Square is an multifaceted neighborhood-based site that assists the Winter Park Housing Authority by providing life enrichment and resources to help solve local issues and improve the quality of life for the residents of the Meadows community (a low-income, high-risk community). We are currently offering five programs in order to fulfill our mission: After-School Achievement Program (ASAP!), Spring and Summer Camps, Community Planning Workshops, Resource Assistance for the members in the community, and our newest program: The YES Program (which offeres tutoring assistance and project help specifically for middle and high school students in the community). For 37 years, the Community Service Center has been a nonprofit that has worked hard to help families and individuals who need a helping hand through various programs. Some of these support programs include parenting classes, eye exams and glasses for low-income children, the Local Hero Program, the food pantry and clothes closet, and the Steps to Success program, just to name a few.
