Habitat for Humanity of South Palm Beach County

The mission of Habitat for Humanity South Palm Beach County is to provide simple, decent, affordable housing for low-income families by working in partnership with those families.

We strive to eliminate the problem of substandard housing one family at a time. Individuals are invited to apply for a home and are selected based upon their need for housing, their ability to repay their mortgage, and their ability to work in partnership with Habitat. An applicant's dream of home ownership becomes a reality because the house is sold to them through a 0-interest rate mortgage; vital financial support is provided by individuals, corporations, faith based organizations and others in the community; and the homeowners and volunteers build the home themselves.

Our Vision: To solve the affordable home crisis, it will require increased action and advocacy at all levels of our affiliate to ensure that everyone has a safe, decent, and affordable place to live. Through our collective efforts, we are building homes and communities that are giving hope and opportunity to those that might otherwise have none.
