Our Plan: Our mission and vision remain at the heart of our organization. Our five year plan works to stengthen our systems, policies and ways of working with the goal of becoming a stronger, more efficient and effective organization with enhanced growth and programmatic excellence. Our three aims direct our efforts toward our vision for 2020:

1. Integrate our eye care work into broader development agendas with a more systems based approach
2. Create effective advocacy strategies and partnerships to increase access to eye care
3. Invest in our organization and people to stengthen our work

How We Work

Through training, research and advocacy, we work to strengthen local eye care institutions, train eye care professionals and advocate for supportive policies to increase awareness about the importance of quality eye health. In programs supported by Orbis in 2015, we've enhanced the skills of more than 30,326 eye care professionals, and conducted over 2.13 million screenings/examinations on adults and children around the world.
