Northwest Chinese Academy

Our mission is to set the standard of excellence in immersion education. We concentrate on five areas of excellence: 1) Academic and Scholarly Excellence: All students are performing above grade level, engaged in their learning and contributing positively to the community; 2) Full Mandarin Immersion: Students have one of the highest levels of exposure in speaking, writing, and reading Mandarin in the country; 3) Whole Child: Students are joyful, empowered, creative, critical thinkers, and responsible, self- confident citizens; 4) Culture: Students are globally competent. The heart of culture is accessed through language acquisition; 5) Community: NWCA is a unified community of students, parents, teachers, and administrators working towards a common goal.
