The Museum of Work & Culture is a division of the Rhode Island Historical Society & a Smithsonian Affiliate. The Museum preserves and honors the work of the men, women, and children who settled in the Blackstone Valley at the turn of the century. In addition to welcoming tourists from around the world, the Museum is dedicated to educating local students about our state's history, area ecology, and the French language. The Museum also offers year-round public programs including lectures, concerts, workshops, and film screenings.
