The purpose of Prevent Child Abuse Illinois is to work to develop a society
that understands and values the well-being of children, a society that
raises children in healthy, safe, and nurturing environments, and a society
where parents and caregivers seek and accept community support regarding the
knowledge and skills required to be an effective caregiver.
The mission of Prevent Child Abuse Illinois is to prevent child abuse and
neglect in all its forms by providing statewide leadership through
education, support for community initiatives, and advocacy.
