ECOLIFE Conservation practices human centered conservation, saving ecosystems as a result of improving the human condition. We do this with two programs, sustainable agriculture and community-based conservation.
We use aquaponics as a form of sustainable agriculture to feed food insecure people across San Diego while leaving habitat for wildlife that would normally be cleared for agriculture. We also use our ECO-Cycle Aquaponics Kit as a STEM educational tool across the nation.
We build fuel-efficient stoves in Monarch Butterfly Biosphere Reserve in Central Mexico to protect families lungs from harmful smoke as well as protect critical monarch habitat.
