GrowingGreat is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with the mission to empower children to make healthy food choices through hands-on science and garden education. We believe every community should have access to fresh produce and all children should experience the joy of growing fruits and vegetables in their own garden. GrowingGreat is celebrating our 20th anniversary with a large national expansion of our hands-on garden, nutrition and science activities from Los Angeles to science centers and schools across the country. Together, we will transform gardens into outdoor STEM labs where we empower children to make healthy food choices. We are looking for a new member of our leadership team to help us continue our commitment to the 15,000 children we impact each year in Los Angeles, 65% in low-income inner-city communities, as we take our organization to the national level.
