Superstition Mountain Lost Dutchman Museum

The Superstition Mountain Historical Society Inc. is a non-profit corporation organized to collect and preserve the history, legends, and lore of Arizona's Superstition Mountain regions; to support research, education, and publications involving the region; and to maintain a historical museum devoted to these endeavors.

The Superstition Mountain Lost Dutchman Museum is dedicated to preserving and sharing the history, legends, and cultural heritage of Arizona's Superstition Mountains. Located in Apache Junction, our museum welcomes visitors from around the world to explore engaging exhibits, historic buildings, and the stories that shaped the American Southwest.

Volunteers are essential to our mission. Whether you're greeting guests, assisting in the museum shop, leading tours, helping preserve our collections, maintaining our beautiful grounds, or supporting special events, you'll make a meaningful difference while learning something new. We welcome volunteers of all backgrounds and experience levels, and training is provided for every role.
