Misión
The mission of T2 Dance Company is to enrich the dance scene. We achieve this by presenting high quality contemporary dance theatre on stage, on screen, and in non-traditional spaces, and through initiatives that provide unique choreographic opportunities and experiences to the community. We believe that working together with collaborators, independent dance artists, and cross-disciplinary artists creates unique and vibrant work, and allows for greater involvement in the arts for all.
Acerca de
Founded in 2017, T2 Dance Company (T2) is committed to the development of the arts in Boulder, both for artists and audiences. T2 is both a performing and presenting dance company. T2 performs dance works (often created in collaboration with other artists) and presents other artists and companies through its festivals. T2 provides arts education to preschool and elementary school students, and mentoring for emerging dance artists.
Annual programming includes:
- The Color Wheel Project (CWP) - integrating visual arts and dance for elementary students, and culminating in a performance by the T2 company dancers.
- Mini E-Motions (MEM) - combining dance with emotional development for 2-5 year olds.
- T2's ChoreoFest - professional development and mentoring for emerging dance artists.
- Versatility Dance Festival - presenting national dance companies and international dance films.
- Company Productions - featuring contemporary dance collaborations with other artists.
