The 6th Avenue Corridor is an ambitious nonprofit organization whose mission is to coordinate the commercial revitalization of 6th Avenue through the historic River Bend and Cheatom Park neighborhoods. Bookended by downtown on the south and Birdland Park on the north, 6th Avenue is the historic center of North Des Moines and Northern Gateway to the City's central business district.
