Substantial is a nonprofit working to unlock the potential of substitute teaching. We believe in leveraging the power of design to fuel best practices. Substantial was founded in 2015 and since then we have been coordinating a range of services including district consulting, PD for HR teams, and the development of two subscription-based technology products, SubPlans & SubSchool.
