The mission of WWRC is to inspire action and awareness on behalf of watershed health in NW and SW Portland neighborhoods. This is done by:
· Engaging with community partners from diverse groups to form relationships and listen to needs.
· Prioritizing connections and programs that provide value and access to resources to underserved communities.
· Monitoring and assessing community resources and needs for watershed education and outreach.
· Developing and implementing programs and outreach that are led by community needs and priorities, and tailored to audience experiences.
· Responding to community requests for project development and support to address watershed health challenges with tangible on-the-ground outcomes.
· Providing expert guidance and referrals to residents who contact WWRC with questions and concerns about watershed health.
