We educate the world! Mathews Elementary educates children from over 40 different countries, and over 20 languages are spoken among our students. We are located in a historic landmark building in the beautiful Clarksville neighborhood, just west of downtown Austin. We have fewer than 420 students, and students from all over Austin transfer in to the school. We have bilingual programs in Korean, Spanish, and Chinese. We also educate the homeless children of Austin and we have been profiled by the state for our integration of homeless students.
