Kansas Fairgrounds Foundation

Mission Statement:

To inspire excellence and understanding of Kansas agriculture, industry and culture through the Kansas State Fair, activities, educational programs and opportunities.

Purpose:

The specific purposes of the Kansas Fairgrounds Foundation shall be to further the renovation, construction, preservation and beautification of the Kansas State Fairgrounds; to help, assist, promote, support, maintain, enhance, endow and advance the interests of the Kansas State Fair: and to encourage education of the public about the Kansas State Fair and its purpose and activities.

Purpose:

The specific purposes of the Kansas Fairgrounds Foundation shall be to further the renovation, construction, preservation and beautification of the Kansas State Fairgrounds; to help, assist, promote, support, maintain, enhance, endow and advance the interests of the Kansas State Fair: and to encourage education of the public about the Kansas State Fair and its purpose and activities. Such purposes shall be referred to as “Kansas Fairgrounds Foundation Purposes (KFF),” and shall include:

• To provide resources and assistance for renovation, construction, preservation and beautification of the Kansas State Fairgrounds to enhance the enjoyment thereof by the visiting public.
• To support financially and otherwise the Kansas State Fair.
• To encourage education of the public about the Kansas State Fair and its purposes and activities, including, but not limited to, providing educational opportunities regarding Kansas agriculture, industry and culture.
• To provide for the sponsorship, facilitation and coordination of educational scholarships for individuals pursuing a postsecondary education (college, vocational school or trade school), consistent with furthering KFF Purposes.

The Kansas Fairgrounds Foundation serves the entire state of Kansas, and all the people of Kansas through this mission and these purposes by improving the Kansas State Fairgrounds, the Kansas State Fair and the role they play in promoting Agriculture, Industry and Culture.
