Sacramento Native American Health Center

SNAHC is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) Federally Qualified Health Center, located in South Sacramento. The health center is committed to enhancing quality of life by providing a culturally competent, holistic, and patient-centered continuum of care.

As part of the SNAHC vision, the Healing Ways department is designed to build connections to community and culture to improve spiritual health and wellbeing. Led by our Certified Medical Herbalist, Healing Ways involves patients and their families in the healing process and recognizes our unique relationship to the community and our environment. This includes offering traditional medicine in a clinical setting as part of patients’ overall care plan. In addition, community activities are offered, including Herbalism Classes, Urban Plant Walks, and a Community Garden Program. In our community gardens, we grow fresh food and traditional medicine for our patients and community.
