A New Dawn in the Negev
Misión
A New Dawn in the Negev works to improve the quality of life for the Bedouin community and people of the Negev as a whole. Founded in 2009, our work focuses on addressing the social and cultural isolation experienced by Bedouin youth. We create new opportunities for young people of both Jewish and Bedouin backgrounds, we expand their horizons and their prospects for the future. At its core, A New Dawn is a Bedouin-Jewish organization that seeks to promote equality, coexistence, and peace among the many residents of the Negev.
Acerca de
We are a small grassroots organization with multiple programs based in Rahat, Israel. Our main initiatives include a Youth at Risk program, an elementary school music program, international youth exchange, after school English classes, and a local Jewish - Bedouin regional council.
