Faith in Action for Monroe County

We provide no cost volunteers services for :Friendly visiting,Friendly phone calls,Errands,Chores,Small home repair,Transportation to medical appointments, and Respite relief breaks for family caregivers. Services are provides to residents of Monroe County Michigan who are of low income and 60 years and older. We DO NOT provides any hands on services such as bathing, dressing, feeding, or handling of medications.

Our Mission- Faith in Action for Monroe County is a network of religious congregations and community members, all with traditions of human concern for others, whose purpose is to work with the frail, elderly, disabled, and their families in an effort to enable those served to maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life.

Faith in Action for Monroe County invites congregations and individuals of all faiths, who share a sense of responsibility and concern, to join together to provide essential support to the older and disabled persons in our communities.
