Communicating with Disaster Affected Communities (CDAC) Network

The goal of the CDAC Networkis that communities affected by, and prone to, crisis are better able to withstand humanitarian emergencies and are actively engaged in decisions about the relief and recovery efforts in their country.

The CDAC Network’s purposeis to position two-way communication with affected people at the heart of resilience-building, preparedness and response. This will enhance the effectiveness of aid; foster greater accountability and transparency; and improve the outcomes experienced by affected people. Importantly, it will enable stronger communications within affected groups and between affected groups and other stakeholders.
