The Code (short for The Code of Conduct for the Protection of Children from Sexual Exploitation in Travel and Tourism) is a multi-stakeholder initiative which provides awareness, tools and support to tourism companies in order to prevent the sexual exploitation of children in travel and tourism.
Member companies implement the six criteria of The Code into their everyday operations to turn child protection principles into concrete actions that will help protect children from sexual exploitation. More than 300 tourism companies in over 50 countries are members of The Code.
