For over twenty years, Uptown Living existed in the daily hustle and bustle of a young community developer determined to shift power into the hands of North Philly residents. A product of the 60s and 70s where Black industry boomed in Urban communities, this young developer sought to show North Philly that they could regain their glory. Through providing affordable housing, transportation assistance, personal development discussions, and home maintenance skill development, Uptown Living seeks the uplifting of a mighty people.
