Alliance for Rural Community Health/Community HealthCorps

  • Acerca de

Alliance for Rural Community Health (ARCH) was founded by Mendocino County's six community health centers in 1998; it was originally incorporated as Community Health Services of Mendocino County.

It's purpose, then as now, is to develop and expand collaborative ways of addressing community health care issues in a cost-effective and efficient manner. At 11 clinic sites, ARCH members serve patients in Mendocino and Lake Counties. They provide services to over 37,000 residents, or approximately 43% of our populations.

The Community HealthCorps of Northern California is a partnership between Americorps/Corporation for National Community Service and the National Association of Community Health Centers. ARCH has hosted a Community HealthCorps program since 2002 and places Members in community health centers and partner organizations in Mendocino, Lake, and Sonoma Counties.
