Our Mission

Serving the communities of Little Elm, The Colony, Aubrey, and more. Our mission is to build and support bridges within our communities.

Bridge to Self-Sufficiency.

We can help by keeping food on the table, the utilities connected, and each person safe in their homes. Donate to GAP (General Assistance Program) to help.

Bridge to Resources.

We can help the community find other resources. From small houses to opportunities for employment, we seek to connect people to the resources they need.

Bridge to Education.

From English as a second language (ESL) to ensuring that hunger does not interfere with studying, we can help build skills and create powerful opportunities for all people.

Bridge to Food Security.

Ending food insecurity starts small but makes a huge impact. The support of donors and partners is essential to the success of our Feed My Sheep programs.

Bridge to Connection.

Covid-19 taught us the importance of relationships, especially within our senior community. We can help keep seniors connected to each other and create lasting and meaningful relationships.

Neighbors Helping Neighbors in Little Elm

Building the Bridges CS believes that no one should go hungry or unclothed. We aim to fill in a needed gap in community services within Little Elm, Texas and the surrounding area by assisting our friends and neighbors by providing food and clothes. We are open:

• Wednesday 10-2pm for a food distribution
• Thursday 10-2pm for a clothing distribution
• The first Saturday of the month 8-1pm for a clothing distribution geared towards foster families

How can you help?

We need volunteers to help us with the food distribution:

• Greeting families
• Packing boxes of food
• Unloading food donations

As well as the clothing distribution:

• Greeting families
• Be a personal shopper for those who come in
• Help sort through clothes by size and season

Come help us fill the gap and build the bridge to a happy, healthy, and safe community.
