Somerville Public Schools Afterschool Program

The Somerville Community Program provides after school and out-of-school time care in all eight Somerville Public Elementary Schools. The Community Schools programs run Monday –Friday and are open at the dismissal of the school day and close at 5:30pm. The program provides safe structured developmentally appropriate activities for students designed to help the District meet its vision of supporting every student in reaching her or his maximum potential. It is our mission to provide high quality, affordable after school care to Somerville youth in kindergarten through grade 8. At After school students have the opportunity to participate in a variety of age appropriate enrichment activities, receive homework help and MCAS tutoring. Full day school Vacation Camp and Summer Camp programs are also available.
