FAIR HILL THERAPEUTIC RIDING CENTER INC

We are a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization providing Equine Assisted Services in therapeutic horsemanship to area children and adults with physical, cognitive, and social/emotional disabilities. Our services provide a platform to create a conduit between human and equine that will reward the participants with enthusiasm and excitement, while realizing multiple underlying achievements. The rhythmic movement of the horse moves the rider’s body in a manner similar to the human gait, developing muscle strength, balance, cognition and sensory-motor skills. FHTRC’s judgement-free environment promotes independence and self-advocacy. Helping the participant develop horsemanship skills, manifests into confidence-building, as well as physical and emotional strength.
