    Entryway is a national 501(c)3 organization that transitions individuals and families at risk of or experiencing homelessness to economic self-sufficiency by providing career training, full-time employment and housing opportunities in partnership with the real estate industry.

    Pathway to Economic Self-Sufficiency

    REFER APPLICANTS - Local Nonprofits and Training Partners

    • Local referring partners refer qualified individuals at risk of or experiencing situational homelessness to Entryway who are interested in pursuing positions with the apartment industry.

    SCREEN APPLICANTS - Entryway

    • Entryway screens program applicants to determine eligibility for the program.
      • Screened by the Entryway intake team
      • Background check conducted
      • Interview with the Executive Director

    TRAIN PARTICIPANTS - Entryway

    • Entryway uses a robust online program through Grace Hill, a virtual training software platform customized to provide participants during pre-employment and post-employment with technical training, soft skills, and financial literacy.
      • Begin individualized online learning pathway
      • Receive resume and interview coaching with trained Entryway volunteers

    HIRE PARTICIPANTS - Apartment Industry Partners

    • Entryway refers trained participants to our apartment industry partners across the country for employment opportunities and housing. Our industry partners interview our program participants for available positions in their communities, such as groundskeepers, maintenance techs, and leasing agents. Those participants hired through Entryway are proven to have a higher retention rate than the industry standard.

    RETURN TO SELF-SUFFICIENCY - Hired Participants

    • Hired participants are put on a pathway to economic self-sufficiency, receiving full-time employment, discounted housing, and continued career training. They cultivate a sense of pride and ownership of their future, and the Entryway team remains involved during and after the transition for a full year.
      • Paired with a trained mentor for a full year
      • Receive housewares and furniture from CORT and local partners
