GRUPO DE AUTISMO ANGELES

Grupo de Autismo Angeles was founded in 1998 by Jose Luis and Gloria Hernandez. With the help of fellow parents in the same situation as them, they formed the first Spanish-speaking support group, Grupo de Autismo Angeles and today have helped over 500 families. Grupo Angeles primary goals are to increase the awareness and availability of resources, as well as, provide support and educational program for Spanish-speaking families who have children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum disorder. We hold monthly meetings and invite multidisciplinary keynote speakers for our Spanish-speaking families, presenting topics related to Autism Spectrum disorder. We are striving to grow larger in order to reach out to more families, as more children are being diagnosed with Autism each year.
