Children Sports International

About Us

When we started Children Sports International, we had the idea of creating a volunteer based organization that was centered around youth in the community. We recruit college and university students from all over the city to volunteer as interns and coaches to help us reach out to the children and communities in need. We are 100% volunteered based, no staff takes a salary and we do the work we do because we care about our community, children’s future and the environment we live in.

Mission Statement

We see the potential of sports to inspire change in the lives of children and in others. We aim to harness the power of play to unite, mobilize and inspire others to make a difference in their community. Regardless of ethnicity, gender, disability, race or creed, Children Sports International stands determined to implement modern and innovate solutions to issues in under-served communities of Los Angeles and in the most impoverished areas around the world.
