First Steps Himalaya works in partnership with disadvantaged communities in the rural Himalaya to promote early childhood development, community health and awareness. Our aim is to ensure that every child is granted their right to a childhood through long term and sustainable positive behavioural changes.
We promote better parenting, child friendly teaching methods and improved health, hygiene and nutrition.
First Steps Himalaya runs a number of tourism inititiatives in Nepal to provide vital funds to run its programmes. We operate Great Adventures in Nepal which include treks, village tourism and volunteering.Contact us for more details or visit www.firststepshimalaya.org
