Seton Hall offers an innovative J.D. curriculum constantly evolving to meet the demands of today’s global environment. Concentrations are offered in Health Law, Intellectual Property (IP), and Compliance. Seton Hall’s international law program spans all realms of the law from treaties and human rights to international taxation, intellectual property, and trade. Students can choose coursework in such areas as public international law, assisting with issues related to the political systems of nation states; private international law, dealing with matters between individuals, corporations, or non-governmental organizations; and international law and the U.S. courts. Students may participate in externships, study abroad) and the Center for Social Justice, Seton Hall’s clinical program. Seton Hall’s innovative new Weekend JD Program provides the opportunity for working professionals to obtain a law degree in a more flexible learning environment.

Seton Hall is 1 block from Newark’s Penn Station, where a quick train ride takes students into Manhattan. Students can walk to Newark’s major law firms, government agencies and federal and state courthouses. Our graduates make their mark in public interest, government service, and corporate practice. Our strong placement record opens extraordinary opportunities to our graduates not only in top law firms, but also in high technology, pharmaceutical, biomedical, government and public interest organizations.
