ReachOUT

A community to ReachOUT to those who have had to flee their home countries because of the fear of physical or structural violence and discrimination directed towards them because of their sexual orientation and/or gender identity. ReachOUT is also for organisations, agencies and friends of the LGBT+ or refugee services community who seek to further their understanding of the issues faced by this group.
ReachOUT meets twice a month in central Leeds. The purpose of the group is to create a safe space for LGBT+ refugees and asylum seekers to come and make friends, develop a sense of community and boost confidence by learning new skills through capacity building activities. Our meetings are fun, welcoming and inclusive, and we are always looking for new people!
