Empowerment Enterprise II, Inc.

Empowerment Enterprise II, Inc. (EEII, a subsidiary of The Community Church of Washington, DC-UCC) founded in 2008 is a 501c3 tax exempt organization that sets out to impact communities through equipping youth with viable skills through life skill coaching and music enrichment programs.

Our programs aid participants in building skills and awareness in workforce readiness training,  college preparedness, entrepreneurship, music production, HIV/AIDs and community development. 
 
Mission
The mission of Empowerment Enterprise II, Inc. (EEII) is to equip youth with viable life skills through our interactive programs.  EEII is dedicated to ensuring that youth who participate in our innovative, relevant programming will develop critical life skills while preparing themselves for self-mastery, success through thoughtful consideration, familial responsibility, and community leadership.  It is our goal that individuals who complete our programs will comprehend their value, power, and strength in order to better their own lives as well as create change in their communities.

Objectives

 EEII seeks to aid communities in:

• Reducing the poverty rate -This is done by assisting participants in creating a post-secondary plan with the goal of post secondary education being the top priority in an effort to fight against poverty.

• Providing alternatives to negative influences- This is done by raising awareness and providing guidance through life skills coaching; providing participants with music enrichment opportunities and knowledge-based resources to combat negative influences that threaten their future.

• Reducing unemployment - This is done by providing participants with a paid professional internship and job readiness training.
